The St. Joseph Institute received on Thursday, April 23, a delegation from MISSIO / Aachen – Germany, which has supported the Institute’s mission in family and life pastoral care for several years. The delegation was led by Fr. Dirk Bingener, President of MISSIO / Aachen, and Ms. Romina Elbracht, Middle East Coordinator, accompanied by members of the CNEWA regional office in Lebanon, the organization coordinating the visit.
This long-awaited visit comes as an expression of gratitude and appreciation for their cooperation and support, particularly their contribution together with Archidiocese of Cologne & Kirch in Not – Germany for the construction of the Institute’s new hall and offices.
The program included a meeting with members of the Institute and a presentation of its journey since its founding more than 30 years ago, highlighting its development, programs, and presence across Egypt, as well as its pastoral and social fruits. It also featured the message of His Beatitude the Patriarch and the Apostolic Nuncio, along with live testimonies from individuals and married couples on the impact of the Institute’s activities on their married life, family dialogue, and spiritual growth.
The visit concluded with a dialogue and discussion session addressing various issues of concern to society and the Church.
